Great Battle. Great Picture.

today's reading.
Revelation 19:11-21    Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The one sitting on it is called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war...
Revelation 19:11-21

think about it.
What names are given to the rider on a white horse (19:11-16)? How do these names affect your life or worship?

the blog.
Armageddon…the battle between good (Jesus and the armies of heaven) and evil (Satan and all those who follow him on earth)…is what is being described and taking place in Revelation 19:11-21. Now this battle (which really isn't a contest at all) is fascinating for sure, but the take away, the lesson, for me today wasn't about the battle, it was about Jesus. John's description of Jesus as He comes out of heaven is rich. It gives us a picture of Him that we don't get in other books of the New Testament.

Take a couple of minutes and read verses 11-16 again taking note and focusing on this incredible description of Jesus. What does this passage show us about Jesus? How will what you've learned today impact your relationship with Jesus? How will it affect your daily life? Tami W.
