think about it.
From John's introduction, what do you learn about Jesus and why He came (1:1-18)? What was John the Baptist's role (1:6-8)? What happens when you receive Christ (1:12-13)? In what ways does "light" describe Jesus and His work?

So was there a particular verse or description of Jesus that really spoke to you today? (For me, it was verse 5. "The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it." It was a good and needed reminder.) Did you see anything new about Jesus here in John 1:1-18? Tami W.
