Luke 22:47-53 While he was still speaking, there came a crowd, and the man called Judas, one of the twelve, was leading them. He drew near to Jesus to kiss him...
I decided to focus on Jesus as I read about Judas' betrayal and Jesus' arrest today. And, honestly, I was a little surprised at how many examples Jesus provided. Now I'm not going to list out all that I saw because I want to see what you saw too, but the big one for me was obedience to the Father. Jesus knew exactly what was going to happen to him--the beatings, being mocked and, of course, his horrendous death--yet his demeanor was calm, matter of fact, I'd even say determined.
So read Luke 22:47-53 again but this time with your focus on Jesus' actions, His words, His emotions. Then write back on the blog and let me know what examples you saw from Jesus. Tami
