The Beginning

today's reading.
Genesis 2:4-25    These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens...
Genesis 2:4-25

Genesis 2:4-25think about it.
What is the balance God created in a family? Why? How does this combination help in accomplishing God's purposes? How is this marriage relationship described? What implications does that have for your own marriage?

the blog.
I realized as we've been reading in Genesis this week that although I know a lot about the story of Adam and Eve, there's still quite a bit of information in the creation account for me to take in, and this in turn, will help me get a more complete picture. I had forgotten just how much explanation and detail we're really given. Things like how the earth was watered, different landmarks in Eden and, most importantly, specifics about the creation process.

So if you can, take a couple of minutes and read these verses again paying attention to all the detail. Then consider this: What does Genesis 2:4-25 reveal to us about our creation and purpose? What does it show us about God's desire for a relationship with us? Tami W.
