New Artist Ginny Owens earns five nominations with her debut Rocketown Records release, WITHOUT CONDITION

(Franklin, TN) - At a press conference held today in Nashville, Tenn., Rocketown Records received 11 nominations for the Gospel Music Association's 31st Annual Dove Awards. New artist Ginny Owens earned five nominations with her debut Rocketown project, WITHOUT CONDITION, which released in July 1999. Chris Rice, the GMA's 1999 Male Vocalist of the Year, was again nominated in that category.

Husband-and-wife duo Watermark (Nathan and Christy Nockels) received a nomination for New Artist of the Year.

Third Day Receives Four Dove Award Nominations this Week,
Including its First Nomination for "Group of the Year"

Big Tent Revival's "Choose Life" Tapped for Song of the Year Nomination

A FLOCK OF DOVES -- Just in case you haven't already heard -- nominations for the 31st annual Dove Awards were announced this week in Nashville, and dc Talk came through with flying colors. Toby received the top honors with a total of 10 nominations, signifying not only his part in dc Talk, but also his production and songwriting for artists on the Gotee label. This was the third year (second in a row) Toby has received the top number of nods from the Gospel Music Association. As part of {{dc Talk}}, Toby, Michael & Kevin were nominated for the following:

Rock Recorded Song - "Supernatural"

VERITY RECORDS LEADS GOSPEL LABELS IN DOVE NOMINATIONS

Nashville, Tenn./February 2, 2000 - Verity Records' artists and projects garnered twelve Dove Award nominations last week, more than any other gospel music label. Among the nods was a "first" for singer/songwriter/producer {{Fred Hammond}} who was nominated for the coveted Male Vocalist Of The Year award.
