“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service.  And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.” - Romans 12:1-2

God says, “Be filled with the Spirit.” This is a command and not a suggestion. This is the normal Christian life and not just a mountain-peak experience. To be Spirit-filled is to be Spirit-controlled.

How can a bottle be filled with air if it is filled with ink? Simply, empty out the ink and it is then filled with air.

My friend, when you were saved the Holy Spirit came to live inside of you and when we empty sin from our lives, by confession and repentance, we are filled with the Spirit of God.
