A Rest For Your Soul-Part 9

May 29, 2014

Someone has said this, “Weary working burdened one, wherefore toil you so, cease your doing all was done long, long ago.” We would be surprised how much stewing and stirring around, working and fretting and fuming goes on around us today. If we really have an eternal perspective on things, we would see things as complete and finished. There should not be this sense of competition between the children of God. We need to just walk and abide in our relationship with Christ. You see, many souls today, suffer from all kinds of conflict and tension. There are those who are seeking to find a cure in Christian service without spiritual power. I want to encourage you not to do this. Learn the message of surrender first, and when you do, your giftedness will rise to the top. When you live surrendered, what you are supposed to do will come right in front of you and you just say, “Thank you Lord.” My friend, do not wait for someone to ask you to do what you know you should be doing. Why would you wait if you are walking in the Spirit? When you are walking in the Spirit, you become certain of these things and you move first, you do not wait for someone to ask you to do something. You are free in Christ!
