The Holy Spirit's Perspective
Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you can be mature and complete. - James 1:2-4

The Holy Spirit changes the way we see and filter our circumstances. Only through the Holy Spirit can obstacles become divine opportunities. Only through the Holy Spirit can stumbling blocks be changed into stepping stones toward maturity and spiritual growth. Only through the Holy Spirit can God take a sin that Satan intended to destroy us and use it to develop us into the men who gain victory over it. The Holy Spirit’s job is to redeem your mind by reframing your circumstances through the filter of God’s purposes. He delivers to your mind and heart the assurance that “God, causes all things to work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28.) The result, you rise above your circumstances.

The Holy Spirit reshapes the impressions of my emotions in order to bring reality.  I say to God my Rock. “Why have you forgotten me? Why must I go about mourning, oppressed by the enemy?” My bones suffer mortal agony as my foes taunt me, saying to me all day long “Where is your God?” Why are you downcast O my soul? Why so disturbed within me? Put your hope in God for I will yet praise him, my Savior and my God (Psalm 42:9-11)

The Holy Spirit's personality and mission are intimately linked to affect our thinking. He influences our living. His knowledge, power and authority affect our very thought and being.

Father, you are absolutely amazing! Your wisdom, WOW!
