Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 2:5)
The “mind” of Christ means the “attitude” Christ exhibited. Therefore, we should let this mind and attitude that is in Christ be what shapes our mind, conduct, and behavior. In doing so, we too will experience the ultimate fulfillment that Christ promises to all of us. The people of God should also imitate the character of Christ. Even though there are some things we cannot imitate, such as His vicarious death on the cross, we can copy the same spirit of humility that He exercised.
In Living in the In-Between Times, Pastor Ralph Douglas West brings the story of the Old Testament prophet Samuel to life, showing you how God speaks in your “in betweens” and what it looks like to live faithfully in these seasons of waiting and wondering.
