Vital and Valuable

Today's reading: Proverbs 17:1-28

"A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity" (Proverbs 17:17).

I'm a people person which translates to connecting to a lot of people and having quite a few people I call friends. But out of this group, I have two best friends--my husband Jeff and my sister Ginger. They are the people who immediately came to mind as I read Proverbs 17:17. Why? Because they have demonstrated time and again loving me at all times (even when I haven't been very loveable) and standing beside me through times of adversity. The relationship of "friend" that I have with each of them is vital and invaluable to me.
