Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning at this Scripture, preached Jesus to him.

--Acts 8:35

The Bible tells us that in the early days of the Christian church, seven men were chosen to help the twelve disciples attend to routine matters of the church. One of these men was Philip. And God used him in a mighty way to lead others to Christ.

In the same way, God still empowers His people today. You don’t have to be a preacher or missionary to be a powerful witness for Christ. God has empowered you through His Holy Spirit to be a powerful witness no matter what you do for a living.

Some people are hesitant to share their faith because they don’t see themselves as a Bible scholar, a theologian, or even a persuasive salesperson.

But the fact is God can use anyone who’s willing and available to share the message of hope and truth found in Jesus Christ. Are you open to letting God use you today?

If you’re a follower of Jesus Christ, you have a testimony as to how Christ has changed your life. What this world needs right now is Jesus… and you’re just the person to be used by God to share that life-changing message!

GOD HAS EMPOWERED YOU THROUGH HIS HOLY SPIRIT TO BE A POWERFUL WITNESS TO OTHERS.
