Isaiah 55:1-3

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labour for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food. Incline your ear, and come to me; hear, that your soul may live; and I will make with you an everlasting covenant, my steadfast, sure love for David.”

God offers to give you what you could never afford to buy!

That’s what grace is all about—God paying for what you could never pay for, and then offering it to you as a gift of love. You could never afford to purchase your forgiveness. We know that because of how much your forgiveness cost—the death of God’s only begotten Son. But God purchased your forgiveness and offers it to you in the person of Jesus Christ.

And with Jesus he also wants to give you eternal life, a calling to ministry, purpose in your existence, joy, fellowship, a sense of wholeness and rightness, overflowing blessings, and a very close relationship with his Holy Spirit.

How foolish it would be for you to spend your money, time and energy trying to get what the world says will satisfy when God is waiting to give you all that and more, as you live his way.
