Election Day 2012 is Finally Here

Did you think this day would never come? Election Day 2012 is here. Some estimates put the cost at $6 billion for all federal offices. That's a lot of money for positions that pay in the mid-to-low six figures.
God gets the ultimate and final vote, and His is the only vote that matters. Leadership reflects followership. If we are preoccupied with pleasure, avoiding responsibility for our actions and a sense of entitlement, we are likely to vote for one type of candidate. If, on the other hand, we see ourselves as responsible for ourselves, worship God, not government, get married to a member of the opposite sex and stay married, then we are likely to vote another way.
It says something that in six states, same-sex marriage is on the ballot and in others there are proposals to expand gambling.
Vote and pray for America today and whatever the outcome, know that God remains God. Not even a president has more power than He does.
