How JP Pokluda Uses God's Word to Help Us Discern True Miracles and Spiritual Battle

Texas pastor JP Pokluda recently shared his experiences and observations of the supernatural on college campuses across the United States. During an interview with CBN News on the red carpet at the 2025 K-LOVE Fan Awards, Pokluda explained that discussing these issues has been "crazy" but rewarding.

"If you wanna open up attacks from the enemy, just write a book on spiritual warfare. But I would just say God's winning," Pokluda, who released Your Story Has a Villain: Identify Spiritual Warfare and Learn How to Defeat the Enemy earlier this year, said.

According to the pastor, he witnessed over 20,000 college students turn to Christ in the past two years," Faithwire reported.

"I just think we're right in the middle of something really special," he said. "The most incredible time, at least in my generation — in my lifetime, I'll say."

Additionally, Pokluda has seen miracles in his own life, including healings and deliverance from strongholds. In one case, he shared how he spoke to his hairdresser about the Lord, which turned out that she had actually been praying about that very morning as she was struggling with her faith.

"She started freaking out and she was like, 'I prayed this morning. I said, 'God, if you're real, you're gonna have to send someone to tell me that you're real,'" he recalled, noting that there have been so many God moments like that one that he's "stopped being surprised."

In promoting his new book, Pokluda shared how reading the Bible has increased his awareness of the supernatural.

"As I see God save people, and as I see the Holy Spirit move, and, likewise, see the enemy attack, I'm just like, 'Hey, we're still very much in the battle,'" he said.

Pokluda further elaborated on how the topic of spiritual warfare in Your Story Has A Villain has increased this theological understanding in the past two decades.

"Spiritual warfare has been the missing puzzle piece in my theology for over 18 years. Understanding it better has changed the way I read the Bible, pray, and see the world," he wrote on Instagram back in May.

On his trips to college campuses, the pastor shared how he's been informed about supernatural experiences, including healings and deliverances.

"I'm just hearing … [about] deliverance, freedom [from] cutting, suicide ideation [and] healing from mental illness, physical ailments. I've heard physical healings," he said. "Everywhere we've gone, we've seen some aspect of the supernatural working."
