Jacksonville Jaguars Praise God Amid Training Camp Kickoff

The Jacksonville Jaguars kicked off their training camp in late July and went viral with a social media post praising God.

In a post on X on July 29, the Jaguars, which have about 857,000 followers on X, wrote,“God is good ... All the time!” followed by a praying hands emoji.

The post went viral and has been seen over 2 million times as of Wednesday morning.

According to Fox News, the reach of the Jaguars' post praising the Lord far surpassed that of their average posts, which are typically viewed by 20,000 to 35,000 people.

Fans of other NFL teams, including the Indianapolis Colts and the Houston Texans, supported the post.

"Rare Jags W, coming from a Texans fan," one fan wrote in the comments.

"W Jags Sincerely, a Colts fan," another user posted.

 "Great message," another fan said.

"We're winning the Super Bowl," another offered.

Despite the faith-filled post, the team also made a post on June 1 celebrating Pride Month.

“#DUUUVAL is for everyone 🫶 Happy Pride Month!”, the team wrote at the time.

In comparison to the post praising God, however, the Pride Month post only received 301,000 views.

The Jacksonville Jaguars, the current AFC champions, have several players who are professing Christians.

Quarterback Trevor Lawrence previously shared in an interview with the Florida Times-Union in September 2024 that his faith in Christ is his ultimate priority.

“It’s something I really want to be known about me,” he said at the time. “I wouldn’t be who I am if it wasn’t for my faith or my relationship with Jesus. It’s the biggest thing in my life. I know the peace that it’s given me, especially in this crazy job that we have.”

Last December, his wife, Marissa, posted a picture of herself, Trevor and their baby daughter, Shae, as she praised the Lord.

“Thank you, Jesus,” she wrote on Instagram.
