Netanyahu Vows to Take Stronger Action against Terrorism in Jerusalem

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has vowed to take stronger action against terrorism after two terrorists recently killed 6 people and injured over a dozen others. "The fact that we eliminated these two terrorists is not enough," he stated. "The fact that we go after the supporters and aides, that is not enough either. My instruction is to go strongly against the nests of terror."

Netanyahu added, "We have already eliminated nests of terror in refugee camps, in three. We simply evacuated the population from there and flattened all the terror infrastructure, and my instruction is to do the same in other nests of terror."

Meanwhile, U.N. Spokesman Stéphane Dujarric spoke on behalf of U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, who condemned the attackCBN News reported.

He conveys his heartfelt condolences to the families of the victims and wishes a full and speedy recovery to those who were wounded."

Over the weekend, two terrorists in their 20s boarded a bus in Jerusalem and began shooting before they were killed at the scene. Roughly six people were killed, and more than a dozen others were wounded.

The prime minister noted that Israel will continue fighting Hamas.

"I promised you a few days ago that we would bring down the terror towers in Gaza; that's exactly what we're doing," he observed. "In the last two days, 50 such towers have fallen; the Air Force has taken them down."

At the present time, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) has launched airstrikes on Gaza, targeting high-rise buildings and infrastructure used by Hamas. Netanyahu said that taking down the buildings was "just a prelude" and warned Gazans to flee.

"And so I say to the residents of Gaza, I'm taking advantage of this opportunity, and listen to me carefully: You've been warned, get out of there."

The IDF issued its largest evacuation order on Tuesday to the people of Gaza, a sign that a ground invasion is imminent.

Following the terror attack, President Donald Trump issued a final warning to Hamas to release the remaining hostages in Gaza.

"Everyone wants the Hostages HOME. Everyone wants this War to end! The Israelis have accepted my Terms. It is time for Hamas to accept as well. I have warned Hamas about the consequences of not accepting. This is my last warning, there will not be another one! Thank you for your attention to this matter," Trump wrote on his Truth Social Platform Sunday afternoon.
