Boko Haram Child Suicide Bombing Kills 3, Injures 46

Boko Haram has struck Nigeria again with the second child suicide bombing in two days. Christian Today reports that two girls that appeared to be about age 10 were strapped with explosives which detonated in a marketplace in Yobe State.

Three people died in the attack and 46 more sustained injuries.

Witness Sani Abdu Potiskum said, I saw their dead bodies. They are two young girls of about 10 years of age...You only see the plaited hair and part of the upper torso.”

The attack in Yobe State followed a similar child suicide bombing at a marketplace in Maiduguri which killed 16 people and injured 20.
