Chip and Joanna Gaines, the stars of the popular HGTV series “Fixer Upper,” have announced that they will be featured in a new show.

On “Fixer Upper,” the Waco, Texas couple remodels homes in the special style so many fans have come to love. In the new show, called “Fixer Upper: Behind the Design,” the couple will take fans behind the scenes to see the details of how they make old houses into new homes.

The HGTV website describes the show as “a deep dive into Joanna's design strategies and behind-the-scenes looks at just how those amazing Fixer Upper projects get pulled together."

A sneak peak of the series already aired on March 28, but Chip and Joanna also took to Instagram on Monday to share the news with their fans.

"So we have a new series coming out this year called Behind the Design," Joanna announced. "The show focuses on each project, and you get a more inside scoop of how we came up with a lot of the decisions and design elements we get to incorporate."

CBN News notes that the couple are committed Christians and even recently faced criticism for attending a church that ascribes to biblical views regarding homosexuality.

In a blog post responding to the controversy, Chip wrote, "Jo and I refuse to be baited into using our influence in a way that will further harm an already hurting world, this is our home. A house divided cannot stand. If there is any hope for all of us to move forward, to heal and to grow – we have got to learn to engage people who are different from us with dignity and with love."
