Harvest Christian Fellowship is gearing up for its annual evangelistic event, SoCal Harvest.

Except for last year, the live event has been held for more than 30 years straight at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, California. Since SoCal Harvest began, the event has seen nearly 500,000 people come out onto the baseball field to make professions of faith to follow Jesus Christ.

This year’s SoCal Harvest is set to take place on October 3 and will once again be hosted at Angel Stadium.

Harvest Christian Fellowship Pastor Greg Laurie will be speaking at the event, and he hopes to encourage everyone who shows up, whether they are believers or not.

“When I give a message to people at large-scale outreaches, I’m speaking to everybody—people who are hopeless, people who are suffering, and even people who might call themselves ‘religious.’ We all need Jesus Christ,” Laurie told Harvest.

Several music artists will also be performing, including the Grammy Award-winning Australian brother duo For King & Country and Dove Award-winning artist Phil Wickham.

Harvest is encouraging Christians to invite their non-Christian friends to attend the SoCal event so that they can hear about Jesus.

In a video posted on Instagram, Laurie encouraged Christians to be praying about who they wanted to invite to the event. “Look around. You see a lot of empty seats. We’re gonna be here on October 3, and our objective is simple, we want to fill those seats. And specifically, we want to fill those seats with people that do not yet know the Lord. So, that’s where you come in. Start praying about who you can bring that is not yet a Christian to the SoCal Harvest on October 3, right here at Angel Stadium. So, let’s be praying, and I’ll see you then.”

Laurie also shared that the event will be more “immersive” this year, noting that “there will be cinematic elements woven into the live event.”

SoCal Harvest is free to attend and will kick off at 7:00 pm PST. You can register for the event here. If you are unable to attend SoCal Harvest in person, it will also be streaming online on October 3 at 7 pm PST. Re-broadcasts will also be available at 6 pm PST Monday-Friday the week following the live event.
