Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Criticizes the Biden Administration in His Farewell Speech

"I am proud that I can sit in a government with people with very different views," Bennett said Sunday.

Netanyahu, however, said in his exit speech that he didn't believe Bennett was strong enough to stand up to the U.S.

He also said the Biden Administration has asked him "not to discuss our disagreement on Iran publicly," Fox News reports.

"But with all due respect, I can't do that," he said.

"The prime minister of Israel needs to be able to say no to the president of the United States on issues that threaten our existence," he said.

Netanyahu also added that Iran is "celebrating" that he is no longer in office because "they understand that starting today there will be a weak and unstable government."

"We'll be back soon!" he said.

"For more than 15 years, I had the privilege of working for my beloved state," he said. "Our achievements have turned Israel from a marginal state into a rising force in the global stage."

Bennett, however, thanked Netanyahu for his work as prime minister. The two were previous allies.

"Thank you, Benjamin Netanyahu, for many years of service and lots of achievements for Israel," Bennett said. "As prime minister, you worked for many years with devotion and to our political power, defensive power."

Bennett has also said that he is opposed to a U.S. nuclear agreement with Iran.

"Israel will not allow Iran to obtain nuclear weapons," Bennett said in a speech.

In a message to Washington, Bennett said, "Renewing the nuclear deal is a mistake."
