The daughter of Jamie Lynn Spears recently recovered from a terrifying accident, and the singer expressed her gratefulness to God for this miracle.

Spears’ eight-year-old daughter Maddie was in critical condition after being involved in an all-terrain vehicle accident last month. The vehicle reportedly tipped over into a pond, pinning Maddie underneath. She was rushed to the hospital while her family anxiously waited and prayed.

Jamie Lynn’s sister and fellow singer Britney Spears posted on social media, asking for prayer for her niece.

God answered these prayers and Maddie was able to make a full recovery.

On her Instagram account recently, Jamie Lynn shared a photo of Maddie holding her cousin Kylie Blair whose baptism the family was celebrating.

"A month ago, at this time, I was living a mothers/anyones worst nightmare happening right infront of my eyes, helplessly," Jamie Lynn wrote. "Fastforward- Today, we were able to celebrate the baptism of our sweet Kylie Blair."

"I'm not one to preach, but we were shown God's grace, and we still feel undeserving of His mercy," she continued. "I'll never stop thanking each of you for your prayers, because we recognize the miracle it created. We are beyond blessed, and we will NEVER forget y'all, and God's unbelievable mercy."
