A Texas teen claims he saw Jesus after he collapsed during a gym class and was without a heartbeat.
Seventeen-year-old Zack Clements was running when he inexplicably collapsed. After being unresponsive for 20 minutes, the teen regained a pulse and was airlifted to Cook Children’s Hospital in Fort Worth.
Clements now says that he met Jesus before he was revived, The Daily Mail reports.
"When I was out those 20 minutes, I saw a man who had long ruffled hair and kind of a thick beard, and it didn't take me long to realize that that was Jesus. I went up to him and he put his hand on my shoulder and told me everything would be alright,” he said.
Clements’ parents say that critics have been quick to reject their son’s statement, but they believe a divine miracle saved his life.
Clements’ father, Billy Clements said, “For him to wake up and tell us something he experienced like that. It's just you can't explain it. It's not humanly possible to explain it.”
