Three Dallas Cowboy Players Get Baptized in Viral Video

Three football players for the Dallas Cowboys were recently baptized in a video that went viral.

Cowboys linebacker Anthony Hitchens, safety Kavon Frazier, and linebacker Justin March-Lillard were baptized as a profession of their faith by team chaplain Jonathan Evans.

The video has been viewed nearly two million times since Evans posted it on social media, according to SportsDay.

The three players were baptized in the team’s underwater treadmill pool.

Frazier said that he had been baptized as a child, but wanted to make this public profession of faith as an adult.

"We all decided we wanted to get baptized again," Frazier said. "I got baptized when I was younger. My mom made me get baptized when I was [3 years old]. I was always a believer but this is the first time that I really took it serious, or took God serious, and started fully trusting Him on and off the field with every situation."

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett added that Evans has been a blessing to the team.

"We love him," Garrett said. "We're really fortunate to have him. He's someone who's a mentor to a lot of our guys and he's a great resource. Not only for the players but for the coaches and we're really fortunate to have him in our organization."
