Trump Cabinet Members Meet Faithfully Every Week for Bible Study

Several members of the Trump administration have been engaging in a weekly Bible study led by Ralph Drollinger of Capitol Ministries.

Drollinger shared with CBN News that he believes this administration is filled with more Christians committed to their faith than perhaps ever in America’s history.

"These are godly individuals that God has risen to a position of prominence in our culture,” he said.

Some of President Trump’s cabinet members who regularly attend the studies include Health Secretary Tom Price, Energy Secretary Rick Perry, Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, Agriculture Secretary Sunny Perdue, CIA Director Mike Pompeo, and Attorney General Jeff Sessions.

Drollinger shared his amazement at the work God is doing in the lives of the White House staff: "It's the best Bible study that I've ever taught in my life. They are so teachable; they're so noble; they're so learned.”

Drollinger had particular praise for Sessions: "He'll go out the same day I teach him something and I'll see him do it on camera and I just think, ‘Wow, these guys are faithful, available and teachable and they're at Bible study every week they're in town.’”

Vice President Mike Pence also joins the Bible study whenever he is available. President Trump also is invited to the study and receives transcripts of Drollinger’s teachings.

"I just praise God for them," Drollinger said. "And I praise God for Mike Pence, who I think with Donald Trump chose great people to lead our nation."
