Faith at the Movies

A USA Today article pointed out that Hollywood is more focused on religious movies recently. The article, however, questioned Hollywood's motives, and suspected that it was a fad.

Several of these films have been produced by Christians with hopefully pure motives, but Hollywood also has others desiring to get in on the action. Some of these copycats may even preach Christ, but out of less than pure intentions. So how should we respond?

The Apostle Paul faced a similar situation in Philippians 1:18 he responded, "But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice."

Although we need to be very discerning, let's rejoice that Hollywood is helping lead some to the Lord.
