Pas the Day - November 14, 2019

. . . that . . . the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened . . . (Ephesians 1:17-18a)

The spirit of wisdom results from that operation wherein God’s Spirit creates a new human capacity of perception. Available to the believer is a deep discernment of the basic nature of things as they really are. Knowledge is the rare trait of learning with perception—discovering and growing. Knowledge without wisdom, however, is a menace. Wisdom coordinates knowledge and sees into the very heart of things. Wisdom is the ability to see with discernment, to view life as God perceives it. Understanding is the skill to respond with insight.

God will finish the good work He’s begun in you

When life knocks you down, you can feel that God is a long way away.

But be encouraged – because He’s right there, working in you and for you, even when you don’t feel Him.

Finishing Work is a new series from Pas that takes you through the Psalms to show you that God always keeps His promises – especially His promise to complete the good work He’s begun in you. And we’d love to send you a copy as our thank you for your gift today.

So request Finishing Work when you give below to help others understand that truth and hold onto God’s promises too. Be encouraged!
