Judges 8:22-35 Then the men of Israel said to Gideon, "Rule over us, you and your son and your grandson also, for you have saved us from the hand of Midian..."
I'm always saddened when I reach the end of the account of Gideon. As I read this story one more time today I was struck by the devastating impact one poor decision had on Gideon's family and the nation of Israel for years to come.
