Not Mine

Philippians 4:6-7   Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God...

Even though I'm not what I would call a "worrier," stress and worry still seem to have a way of crowding in on me. When I find myself in that situation, one of my favorite passages to turn to is Philippians 4:6-7. It serves as a wonderful reminder that God is in control of my life, and that whatever cares and concerns I'm struggling with aren't mine anyways. How comforting to know that God's got every detail of my life covered and I can fully trust Him no matter the situation.
