Britain launched its first drone strike in Iraq over the weekend, sending a Hellfire missile toward ISIS terrorists. The militants were reportedly laying bombs were the drone strike was launched.
The Reaper drone was also able to provide intelligence for further strikes against the terrorist organization.
Christian Today reports that the British government approved air strikes against terrorists in Iraq in September. Since then, British troops have aided the United States in dozens of missions to combat ISIS.
Britain has not yet carried out any air strikes in Syria.
United States and allies carried out 23 air strikes in Syria and 18 in Iraq since Friday (Nov. 7).
