Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has reportedly said that Middle Eastern peace would not be possible until a Palestinian state is established. Davutoglu also accused Israeli Prime Minister of terrorism.
In an interview with Reuters, Davutoglu said, "(Netanyahu) himself killed, his army killed children in the playground. They killed our citizens and an American citizen in international waters. This is terrorism.”
Christian Today reports that the Turkish Prime Minister was referring to an Israeli attack of a Turkish vessel in 2010.
Davutoglu continued, "Nobody can argue about Israeli aggression in Jerusalem in the al-Aqsa mosque. These provocations create frustration in the Muslim world and are becoming one of the reasons why these radical trends are emerging.”
"If we want to establish peace and order in the Middle East, eliminating all the extremist forces, we have to solve the Palestinian question."
According to Christian Today, relations between Israel and Turkey have worsened over the past five years, despite United States intervention.
