Actor Kirk Cameron and Duck Dynasty star Lisa Robertson will speak at the 49th Annual March for Life later this month.

The March for Life is slated for Jan. 21 and features the theme of “Equality Begins in the Womb.”

“We are delighted to welcome these incredible speakers to the March for Life,” March for Life President Jeanne Mancini said in a statement. “Americans everywhere know that unborn children deserve equal rights and protection under the law. We expect this year’s March for Life to be historic with even higher levels of enthusiasm from participants.”

According to The Christian Post, thousands are expected to attend the annual rally in Washington, D.C.

Other speakers include Representatives Julia Letlow (R-LA) and Chris Smith (R-NJ), Kristen Waggoner of the Alliance Defending Freedom and pro-life activist Toni McFadden.

Christian artist Matthew West will also perform just before the rally kicks off.

As part of the rally, Archbishop Elpidhoros of the Greek Orthodox Church’s Archdiocese of America will open the event in prayer. Students from Front Royal, Virginia-based Catholic institution Christendom College and Alexandria, Virginia-based Immanuel Lutheran High School will carry the flags and banner at the front of the march this year.

The rally will close with a prayer from Cissie Graham Lynch of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

Marchers will walk from the rally site near the National Mall to downtown Washington up Constitution Avenue to the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. In total, the walk is about 1.5 miles.

The March for Life comes as the U.S. Supreme Court is expected to hand down a decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization. Experts say the justices will rule on whether a 15-week abortion ban violates the U.S. Constitution. A ruling in favor of Mississippi could impact Roe v. Wade.

“We are hopeful that, with Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization before the Supreme Court, 2022 will bring us much closer to building the culture of life we have all marched for since Roe v. Wade was tragically imposed on our nation nearly 50 years ago,” Mancini said.
