Genuine Humility-Part 8

March 27, 2015

1 Corinthians 12: 4-7- There are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:”

The true child of God can never be separated from Him because of sin, not as far as salvation, but in our fellowship and in our ongoing communion with God, I don’t know a whole lot of people that feel like they’re just walking, talking, and listening to God and they’re happy.

The Bible says God has gifted us, but we do not all have the same function, so we who are many are one body in Christ and individually members of it. So, you’re in Christ and Christ is in you equally with me, but He is not wanting you to become like me or for me to become like you. Do you know what God is asking for? He is asking for all of us to become like Him. My friend, this is not about bowing down to each other, it is about submitting to one another in love. There is a mutual submitting we should all have to God, and when we live in submission to Him, we find that we are more prone to being in submission to one another and this brings oneness and unity in the body of Christ.
