Social Media Backlash

Facebook increasingly is being used as a tool to fight fraud. According to a Wall Street Journal article, Nathalie Blanchard was drawing monthly benefits while on sick leave for depression.

The benefits ceased when her insurance company discovered party and vacation pictures on her Facebook page. According to her insurance agent she didn't appear too depressed.

The courts may have to determine the truth, but it does reveal the need for our personal life to match up with our professional life.

The Apostle Paul taught in Ephesians 5:3, "But among you there must not be even a hint of sexual immorality, or of any kind of impurity, or of greed, because these are improper for God's holy people."

Living a holy life includes what's posted on our Facebook page.
