Tebow’s Zeal

Tim Tebow, the Denver Broncos quarterback, has become a lightning rod of sorts, due to his bold expressions of faith. Although many love him and his zeal, he also has thousands of enemies.

Tebow, like all of us, can choose to use fame for personal gain or it can be used to draw others to Christ. Sometimes it’s hard to tell someone’s true motive.

The Apostle Paul warned the Galatians about someone with the wrong motive. In Galatians 4:18 he said, “It is fine to be zealous, provided the purpose is good, and to be so always, not just when I am with you.”

Although I can’t possibly know Tebow’s motive, I pray that many will be drawn to Christ. In your work, who are you promoting God or yourself?
