A Costly Label
By Rick Boxx
January 25, 2010

In a bizarre story, Jason Kay, an unemployed artist in Colorado, was arrested for relabeling bottles of Gatorade. He pasted over the existing brand with labels picturing Tiger Woods and his wife, with the word "Unfaithful."

According to The Wall Street Journal, when arrested, Mr. Kay said he wanted to "get people talking about how stupid the whole thing with Tiger Woods is."

This pop artist claimed he didn't know it was illegal. Even had this stunt been legal, at a minimum Mr. Kay should have realized he was defacing Gatorade's product, and adding insult to Tiger Woods.

A good guide for all of us is 1 Thessalonians 5:15, "See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone."
