Is Wrong Right?

WorldCom was driven by the bottom line. So when Walt Pavlo, a former WorldCom executive, disclosed a $50 million bad debt, he was urged to make the problem go away. So Walt cooked the books to hide the problem.
Soon thereafter, he was promoted. Walt shared with a group "When you've been taught that wrongs have consequences, and doing right brings rewards, it's confusing to receive rewards for doing something wrong. Suddenly it doesn't seem as wrong.
Proverbs 14:14 teaches, "The faithless will be fully repaid for their ways, and the good man rewarded for his." In a corrupt environment this principle may appear invalid, but after years in prison Walt can attest to its truth.
If you find your values being violated, get out before wrong starts to seem right.
