Deceitful Dealer
By Rick Boxx

March 1, 2011

While researching possible vehicles to purchase for my wife, a friend showed me a trick to better check out a specific automobile. We typed the vehicle identification number of a car located in Branson, MO. into "Google."

We were both surprised when the exact same vehicle, with the same description and price, popped up on another website. This site claimed the car was for sale in Albuquerque.

The Branson car dealer I was talking with soon discovered that their entire car lot was listed on this other website. Although I never learned the purpose of the Albuquerque dealer's deceit, it's likely they were trying to dupe others for personal gain.

Psalm 120:2 says, "Save me, O Lord, from lying lips and from deceitful tongues."

May God protect us all from deceit.
