Many companies provide benefits to assure employees have protection for their health, psychological, and emotional well being. What is missing in many plans, however, is addressing the spiritual needs.
Some in the workplace may not have much of a faith, yet they have need for someone to perform a funeral or a wedding. A growing number of businesses are addressing these important needs by hiring corporate chaplains.
1 Peter 5:2-4 teaches, "Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory."
How well are you shepherding your flock?
