A Passionate Sportsman

At a networking meeting, Bill shared with me that he was a sales representative for hunting and fishing equipment, and supplies specifically to Bass Pro. He was very passionate about hunting and fishing.

At one point he candidly shared, “I can’t believe I get paid to work all day talking about hunting and fishing, then leaving to take my clients hunting and fishing!”

Solomon taught in Ecclesiastes 5:18, “Here is what I have seen to be good and fitting: to eat, to drink and enjoy oneself in all one’s labor in which he toils under the sun during the few years of his life which God has given him; for this is his reward.”

It’s easier to become excellent in our work if we are passionate about what we do.
