It’s Mine!

Range Resources, an oil and gas business, experienced a downturn due to falling oil prices. Then a tornado ripped through downtown Fort Worth, destroying CEO John Pinkerton’s corporate headquarters and seriously damaging his home.

According to Jim Jones of McClatchy Newspapers, Pinkerton tried to fix the business, but things got worse. Finally, out of desperation Pinkerton said he submitted to God’s plan and acknowledged God as CEO of his business.

God told the Israelites in Leviticus 25:23, “The land must not be sold permanently, because the land is mine and you are but aliens and my tenants.

Many people have accepted the Lord as their savior, but fewer actually make Him Lord over their business or work. Does God preside over your work, or do you still think you do?
