Colossians 1:1-14 Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, To the saints and faithful brothers in Christ at Colossae: Grace to you and peace from God our Father...
For the next week or so we're going to read through and consider the Book of Colossians. The writer of this Book is Paul (with Timothy) and his letter is directed to Christ-followers in the Colossae. Paul and Timothy have never met these people but have heard about them through Epaphrus, a fellow believer.
As this letter begins, Paul is encouraging this group of believers to continue walking in faith and growing in Christ.
So imagine yourself as one of the believers in Colossae who received this letter. Were you encouraged? Thankful? Excited? Tell us how these beginning verses impacted you and why. Tami
