Take Heart!

today's reading.
Psalm 147:1-20    Praise the LORD! For it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant, and a song of praise is fitting...
Psalms 147

Psalms 147think about it.
What does this Psalm say about the Lord's power? What does it say that the Lord truly delights in (147:11)? What are you doing today that can bring delight or pleasure to the Lord?

the blog.
If there's one thing I've experienced first hand it's that we don't go through life without at least some heartbreak and hard circumstances. So I'm thankful for scripture like Psalm 147 that plainly lays out that the Lord "heals the brokenhearted" and "binds up their wounds." And then we come to these awesome and comforting words, "his understanding is beyond measure." This tells me that no matter what I'm going through, God knows my thoughts, my concerns, my feelings.

So did you draw comfort from Psalm 147? How so? Was there a particular verse or phrase that lifted you up today? Tami W.
