Knowledge and Wisdom

today's reading.
Proverbs 1:7   The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.

the blog.
Monday on Back to the Bible we're starting a new two week series on Proverbs called God's Wisdom for Life's Choices. I thought it'd be good to get a little jump start on wisdom and Proverbs over the weekend. So, one verse to begin, Proverbs 1:7 "The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction."

What does this verse reveal to you about knowledge? What about its source? What does it indicate to you about wisdom and instruction? Tami W.

P.S. For a complete jumpstart on Proverbs, check out "The Pursuit of Wisdom," a special web-only message from Dr. Kroll that will provide you with a great overview of wisdom as found in Proverbs.
