11:40 AM In 1956, just as his career was taking off, Elvis performed a homecoming concert in Tupelo. The city plans to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the concert during the Elvis Presley Festival, June 2-4, 2006. Last year's festival included an event I hope they repeat this year, the Elvis Look Alike Pet Parade.
