This op-ed appeared in today's Independent, a news service in Uganda. I am arguing against the passage of the proposed Anti-Homosexuality Bill 2009.

Should American Christians Care about Gays in Uganda?

Christians in Uganda are leading an effort to impose the death penalty on certain homosexual behaviors. Should American Christians care? I argue that we should care and do something about it.

PFOX wants you to put this book in libraries...

At least, I think Alfie's Home is the book meant by the following PFOX (Parents and Friends of Exgays) news release:
"Ex-gay books are also not made available in many community public libraries," said Griggs. "The libraries in West Bend and Beaver Dam, Wisconsin will not accept our donation of an ex-gay book for children, although these libraries circulate several picture books with gay themes for children."

Do people change sexual orientation without therapy?

Perhaps therapy is not necessary or the potent element of reported change of sexual orientation. Some research indicates that at least some change would happen with the passing of time.

Joseph Nicolosi’s Shame and Attachment Loss: From bad to worse

Trying to keep up on the new developments in reparative therapy, I purchased NARTH’s co-founder Joseph Nicolosi’s new book, Shame and Attachment Loss: The Practical Work of Reparative Therapy. This post is not a review but more of a prep for a review. If you are same-sex attracted, things have gone from bad to worse.
